ALLY PARENT

Hi! I'm Ally Parent a fourth year journalism student at Toronto Metropolitan University! I've written for student publications such as NewWave Magazine, The Unaffiliated Press, and YouthQuaker Magazine as well as being a social media contributor for NewWave Magazine.

I am passionate about investigative and editorial journalism. I always want to learn new things and share stories from voices who aren't often heard. Our words have power and I am proud to be the microphone to silenced voices.

My motto is there is always more to learn and there is even more to be shared. What I love about my profession is that it challenges my skillset and pushes me to constantly learn more and feed my constantly growing curiosity.
